It was important to get as much information on the home page as possible to inform the visitor of what the product offers. This was achieved with embedded 'Flash' graphics and animated banners. This allows a lot of content to be re-presented in one set space.

Another prerequisite was that all other site information should be available at a maximum of one click fronm the home page. Everything that a visitor would need is available from the home page. The exception is the price of the software as the client believed that the visitor should get a good feel for the strength of the software and how it benefits the client before unleashing the price on them!

Suitable software was found which incorporated an ordering system with shopping cart, account creation and secure download area.

A Support ticket ticket system was added which allows for tracking of all support issues. It also includes a Knowledgebase area for online help articles.

A Live Chat service was installed which allows staff to talk live with customers whilst online.

Well known and easy to administer forum software was installed to help with a thriving community.

Although the site requires infrequent updating it was decided that a CMS (Content management system) was the preferred solution.
